Announcements for week of 5-29-2011

ANNOUNCEMENTS:
1.      Stake Conference on Saturday June 4th at 7 pm and Sunday June 5th at 10 am at the Stake Center
2.      Memorial Day Breakfast tomorrow morning at 8 am in the Cultural Hall. Sorry, no bouncing and cotton candy.
3.      Don't forget the youth will coming to your home for their Youth Conference Service Project on June 9th between 10:30 and 12:30. Check the insert in today's bulletin for a list of items needed.
4.      Sisters there will not be a Temple Day this week since the Temple is closed for 2 weeks.
5.      Please keep little Jacob Garces in your prayers, he has been in the hospital since Thursday with pneumonia.
6.      Since this month has 5 Mondays and no group is scheduled for cleaning, please stay a few minuted after the breakfast so we can all clean and finish quickly. Thank you so much.

Announcements for week of 5-22-2011

ANNOUNCEMENTS:
1.      Visiting Teachers Interviews will be on Thursday June 16th and Friday June 17th between 10:00 - 2:00 AND 6:00 – 8:00 PM. Please be sure and sign up.
2.      Our youth will be doing a service project at Youth Conference where they will be conducting a 'scavenger hunt' in which they will be visiting every home in the Stake seeking various items to be donated for the Utah County Family Support and Treatment Center. The organization provides food, shelter and other resources for children, adults, and families whose lives have been affected by abuse or neglect. Groups of youth will be knocking on your doors some time between 10:30 am and 12:30 pm on Thursday June 9th seeking donations.
3.      Mommy Mingle: June 8th at 11:00 am at the Highland Splash Pad.
Today was a very special day in Relief Society. We honored four Laurels who will be graduating from High School: Mckenzie Holmstead, Diana Ingram, Kathryn Moss, and Francesca Montagnoli. They were spotlighted by Jen Rutter who is our transitional person for the Laurels entering Relief Society. We welcome each of those wonderful girls.
